About Us
Evolve Recovery Homes provides women-only, abstinence-based supported housing for women and girls, including women with their children. Our work is trauma-informed, recovery-focused and grounded in lived experience.
We exist to provide women with recovery support that is safe, understanding, and shaped around their real lives. We listen to women, recognise their experiences, and create environments where healing, stability, and independence can grow.
Why We Exist
Alongside existing accommodation pathways, there is growing recognition of the need for women-only, trauma-informed spaces that support recovery and, where appropriate, enable women to maintain safe relationships with their children.
Women are under-represented in official homelessness statistics, yet they make up the majority of people experiencing hidden homelessness. This includes women living in unsafe or insecure accommodation, sofa-surfing, remaining in abusive situations, or becoming less visible while caring for children.
Evolve was established in response to limited specialist provision designed by and for women, addressing the complex and intersecting barriers women encounter when entering recovery and treatment, and promoting equitable recovery opportunities for women and their children.
