Stage 1: Intensive Support Suite (ISS)

The Intensive Support Suite provides early-stage stabilisation for women and girls at the most vulnerable point of their recovery journey.

Women entering Stage 1 are often coming from crisis, unsafe accommodation or environments where recovery has not been possible. The ISS offers a calm, women-only environment where immediate pressure is reduced, support is available and trust can begin to form.

What Stage 1 provides:

• Safe, secure, abstinence-based accommodation
  • High levels of practical and emotional support
  • Trauma-informed and lived experience support
  • Support with safety planning, health, routines and wellbeing
  • Support with accessing the correct benefits and practical support
  • Clear boundaries, structure and consistency

Stage 1 is not about rushing change — it is about creating enough safety and stability for recovery to begin.
